Ballantyne Corporate Park is offering a Notary Public Class with CPCC on April 7.  Class will be held in the Bissell Training Room from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  The Bissell Training Room is located in Suite 300 of the Chandler Building (13860 Ballantyne Corporate Place). 
 
To register for this class, please drop off or mail your non-refundable cash or check payment of $131.00 to The Bissell Companies by Wednesday, March 24.  Please make checks payable to The Bissell Companies.  Your payment will hold your spot for the class- seating is limited!  Payments may be dropped off at the Bissell Companies with attention to Ann Saari (Chandler Building, 13860 Ballantyne Corporate Place, Suite 300).  Textbooks are provided in class.  If you have any questions about becoming a Notary Public, click here to view the state’s website.

The Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program (ACSP) is an education and certification program that helps organizations and businesses protect our environment.  In attaining certification through Audubon International, Bissell Land Management’s strategies of Ballantyne Corporate Park successfully maintain sound environmental practices in six key areas: environmental planning, wildlife and habitat management, outreach and education, chemical use reduction and safety, water conservation and water quality management. 
 
Bissell Land Management has placed 25 Eastern Bluebird boxes around the Golf Club at Ballantyne.  They would like to expand the Blue Bird Nesting Box Program throughout Corporate Park.  The nesting boxes will provide a safe habitat and environment for the Bluebirds while growing their populations here in Ballantyne.  If you or your company would like to sponsor a blue bird box, the cost is $40.00.  Along with your name or company name being placed on the box, you will also be supporting the Audubon Program for our community.  Each box will be numbered and data is reported annually to the Audubon nest box census.   Please email Ann Saari if your company would like to sponsor a Blue Bird Nesting Box in Ballantyne.  Revenue from the nesting boxes will go to continuing educational outreach programs in the park.
