Celebrate Aloft Charlotte Ballantyne's fifth birthday by partying with a purpose on Oct. 29 from 4 until 8 p.m. The party will feature music from DJ JUSJOE, drink specials at w xyz bar, a cake decorating contest, food from Chef Street Bistro, and a silent auction. All proceeds from the silent auction and cake contest will benefit Carolina Breast Friends.

The annual Ballantyne Wellness Fair & Pumpkin Contest will be held on Oct. 30 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Brixham Tent in Ballantyne Corporate Park. This community event features medical practices and local businesses that promote healthy living, music, giveaways, food trucks, free health screenings and flu shots.
Raffle prizes include Flywheel classes, a three-month YMCA Metro membership, a 60-minute Pilates Reformer personal training session, a one month kickboxing membership, a private Muay Thai training session, a one-hour massage and more!
Rally your office or department to design a pumpkin for the Pumpkin Contest. Please email email@example.com to register. The pumpkins will be on display during the event. Winners for best carved, best decorated and people’s choice will be announced after the event.
MetLife has partnered with the YMCA Corporate Wellness Center to encourage employees to get active during the work day. Fifty-two MetLife employees have joined a corporate walking group that meets weekly for a 45-minute walk through Ballantyne Corporate Park.

Ballantyne Briefings is a quarterly business speaker series and networking group for business owners, advisors and other professionals.
The next Ballantyne Briefings will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 28 at Aloft Charlotte Ballantyne from 5 until 7 p.m. and will feature Stephanie Melish, a speaker, writer,and creative sales consultant. The program, titled "Surrounded to Succeed," will help attendees determine six people who can help them succeed personally and professionally.
