Charlotte Claims Victory in Keep Pounding Food Drive!
Friday, February 12, 2016

Ballantyne Corporate Park would like to thank everyone who donated to the Keep Pounding Food Drive vs. Denver. BCP partnered with the Mecklenburg County Council of the Boy Scouts of America and the United Methodist Church to collect non-perishable food for Loaves & Fishes.

While we did not win the Super Bowl, we did win against Denver in the food drive. Final score: Carolinas: 636,891 food items, Denver 360,664.

Our total is based on the donation from Food Lion, the collection of physical items in BCP and Ballantyne Commons East, and monetary donations made to Loaves and Fishes.

Special thanks to everyone who contributed to the drive. Your support is greatly appreciated!

Celebrate Valentine’s Day in the Ballantyne Area
Tuesday, February 09, 2016

Most people have a love-hate relationship Valentine's Day. When you have a significant other to share it with, it can be exciting. You get to spend time with your valentine and do something special. But if you’re still looking, Valentine’s Day is often better known as Single Awareness Day.

Whether you are taken or single, do not waste time sitting in the house or wishing your situation was different. Enjoy it with the people you love and have fun! Here are a few things to do in the Ballantyne area to make the most of your Valentine’s Day.

One of the best ways to enjoy V-Day is with something sweet. If you’re bored with heart-shaped candy boxes, try a treat from Edible Arrangements. Receive 15% off any purchase with your BCP card. It’s a great token of love to share with your sweetheart, a good friend, or enjoy one on your own! Who says you can’t eat a whole edible arrangement by yourself?

If you’re in the mood to hang out with friends, there are plenty of things to do in the Park. Relax with your girls and get a manicure and pedicure at Ultra Nail Bar. The nail salon is new to the BCP program. First-time clients with a BCP card will receive $5 off their first visit and 15% off any service $35 or more. For the guys - how about a game of golf? The Golf Club at Ballantyne offers 20% off regular green fees, cart fees and range balls for BCP card holders.

Couples who are looking for a lovely evening to enjoy with your valentine, BCP has the perfect solution. Enjoy a three-course prix fixe menu at Gallery Restaurant. The meal includes a choice of appetizer, entrée and dessert of $75 per person (plus tax and gratuity). For reservations, please visit or call 704-248-4100.

Another festive option is to dance the night away at the Ballantyne Ball. The second annual masquerade-themed event will be held at The Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge. Proceeds will benefit The Sandbox

If you have any events and activities to add, send them our way! Happy Valentine’s Day!

2016 Heineman Computer Drive Results
Tuesday, February 02, 2016

Thank you to everyone who donated to the Ballantyne Corporate Park computer drive benefiting the Heineman Foundation. We are pleased to announce this year's computer drive surpassed previous efforts, producing 5,966 pounds of recycled computer equipment!

Each piece of equipment will be refurbished and donated abroad to the Technology for Education project in Guatemala. Since 2011, the Heineman Foundation has donated more than 14,000 computers to this project thanks to the generous support of Charlotte-based organizations.

If you missed our January drive, we’ve got you covered! The Heineman Foundation will return to BCP for our annual Earth Day event on Thursday, April 21, offering the community another on-site opportunity to recycle technologies.
