Johnston Road (US 521) and Ballantyne Commons Parkway Update
Thursday, April 16, 2015
Bissell will begin work on two sets of dual turn lanes at the intersection of Johnston Road (US 521) and Ballantyne Commons Parkway on Monday, April 20.

Phase one will add a lane for drivers heading north (right) and will take approximately five weeks to complete. Phase two will create a set of dual turn lanes for drivers heading south (left) and will take about four weeks to complete.

To ensure safety throughout construction, the contractor will enforce traffic control measures, including lane closures. There will always be two westbound lanes open throughout construction (designated turn lanes will be closed during respective project schedules). The project is expected to be complete in July.

Please plan for increased congestion during peak travel times. Bissell appreciates your understanding during its efforts to improve traffic flow in the area.
