Way to go American Honda Finance Corporation! They filled one barrel full of food for the Beans, Corn & Potatoes food drive – and it’s only their first year taking part in the annual drive. Starting Thursday, May 17, enjoy a sweet addition to the Roaming Fork food truck every Thursday at the Brixham Tent. Southern Cake Queen’s pink truck will also be set up selling an assortment of cupcakes, red velvet cheesecake brownies, Charleston chewies, soft drinks and waters. Baked goods are $3.00 each. Cash and credit/debit are both accepted at the truck.

Play Golf for Pediatric Cancer Research

Play golf at The Golf Club at Ballantyne on Friday, May 18 for the Adam Faulk Tanksley Foundation. Registration is at 12:00pm with a shotgun start at 1pm. Boxed lunches provided and the tournament will play a 4-Person Captain’s Choice (No Handicaps Required).
Funds raised through the 3rd Annual Adam Faulk Tanksley Foundation Golf Tournament for Pediatric Cancer Research go directly to Levine Children’s Hospital’s Developmental Therapeutics (DVL) Program. The DVL program is committed to bringing cutting edge therapies to Levine Children’s Hospital with Phase I & II clinical trials. Its mission is to identify and provide access to the most current and emerging therapies in fighting pediatric cancer and blood disorders. This is the only facility of its kind with family-centered care in the southeast region.
The Adam Faulk Tanksley Foundation, Inc., is a 501(c)3, non-profit foundation established solely to make a difference in the lives of children and their families affected by pediatric cancer in Charlotte, NC and the greater southeast. Our mission is to help find a cure for pediatric cancers. All contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by the IRS.

Donate blood in Ballantyne Corporate Park on Tuesday, May 15, from 9:00am – 12:30pm. The Community Blood Center of the Carolinas will be set up at YMCA Corporate Wellness Center, located in Suite 300 of Ballantyne Medical Two (15830 John J. Delaney Drive).
All donors will be treated to the animated comedy Chicken Run during their donation. Three donors will also receive a $10 gift card to Gallery Restaurant and one lucky donor will win a one year membership to the Ballantyne Village YMCA!

Mr. Blessing's play, and Ballantyne Theatre’s production of it, will warm your heart. Opening appropriately on Mother’s Day weekend, shows are May 11, 12, 17*, 18, 19, 25 and 26 at 8:00pm in the Black Box Theatre at Ballantyne Performing Arts Center. Special performance on Mother’s Day 2:00pm with free ticket for moms with a paid ticket purchase.
