Dec8 12/8/2012 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM Wannabe Cancer Free 5K & Fun Run
Wannabe Cancer Free is holding their inaugural 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run in south Charlotte on December 8, 2012. The race will take place at Ardrey Kell High Scool and begins at 8:30am.

Wannabe Cancer Free aims to increase awareness of, and generate support for, the fight against cancer through the promotion of a healthy, athletic lifestyle. Race proceeds will go to benefit Adenoid Cycstic Carcinoma Research Foundation (ACCRF). Register online or via the form below. Visit wannabecancerfree.org for more information.

The Ballantyne Book Club for this month will discuss Amsterdam by Ian McEwan. The club meets at Aloft Charlotte Ballantyne.
